With over 20 years in the advertising and visual storytelling industry, Shashi B Jain stands as the creative heart of MATCHBOX FILMS & PRODUCTIONS (MBFP). Known for directing over 250 high-impact TVCs and collaborating with iconic national and international brands, Shashi has built a reputation for transforming brand messages into cinematic experiences.
His journey began under industry legends at MAD Films and with visionary filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, where he honed his eye for detail and rhythm. Over the years, he has directed campaigns for global brands like Dabur, Colgate, LG, MDH, Maggi and many more—establishing himself as a go-to name for emotive, high-performance visuals.
Shashi’s core belief is that storytelling has no duration—it has only depth. Whether it’s a 30-second TVC or a 30-minute episode, he brings the same narrative weight, visual flair, and emotional anchor to every project. Under his leadership, MBFP has grown from a commercial production house into a long-format-ready, storytelling-driven studio poised for OTT and digital expansion.
